Most people believe new homes, that have been inspected by the local code officals, have met all applicable building requirements-this is far from the truth. Typically, the local code offical has very little time to conduct a thorough evaluation; many times they are in and out in a matter of minutes, not hours. Our evaluations will take anywhere from two to four hours.
Many of these concerns can also be found in existing construction; quite often the issues have been present in the home since construction and may have progressively worsened.
